Best Edition Zodiac Academy: The Awakening with Free MOBI EDITION!

I gave this book 3 stars because I did like the story. However, I had some issues with it. I know the story is about bullies but it seemed a bit excessive. Throughout the entire first half of the book, the main characters are consistently and brutally attacked or rather abused. It was exhausting to read especially because the 2 main characters did nothing but whine and complain about the abuse but failed to take the necessary actions needed to fortify themselves and strengthen their powers. All they managed to think about was "One day we will be strong enough to beat you" but they never did anything to make that happen. The whole story was over sexualized but hey, if you like that then you will have no problem with it.There were a lot of grammatical errors (the prequel had quite a few as well).Wasn't in love with the ending. The good in the book outweighs the bad. Interesting Fae world, magic system based on the Zodiac (nice touch there). Just hope in the next book, Darcy and Tory will evolve and not be whiny and fearful all the time. From the way the story is going, looks like they will eventually "power up" and grow into the strong Fae they were born to be. I will be reading the next book.
